Do you have a showroom?

We don't. We’d secretly love to. On Kings Road in London, probably. But, when you cut the bricks and mortar costs - the rent, the staff, the electricity bill…you can make furniture much more reasonably priced. 

Do you offer a trade discount?

Yes we do. And you should read what we have to offer trade customers.  Email us at hello@elderflowerlane.co.uk or call us on 07928 551170 and we will be happy to help.

How much does delivery cost?

It’s all very reasonable but - in rare cases - it’s complicated because places that don’t seem so far away are often hard to get to. Which means it costs us more to get our van there. But this is the exception, not the rule. Please read the link below:

I want my furniture! How long will I have to wait?

Between 7 to 14 working days depending on your postcode. This seems crazy slow compared with Amazon or some national chain but we don’t have a thousand vans or a global delivery network. And actually we don't ever want to.

Do you offer delivery at a certain time and day?

Our delivery driver will call or text you several days before delivery to suggest the day and time they’d like to deliver. If this isn’t convenient, you can arrange a convenient time between yourselves.

Do you deliver overseas?

No. We only offer deliver in the UK at the moment. Delivering to Mauritius is something we're seriously considering. You can try to convince us.

Do you deliver to any UK address?

We’d love to. And, in the last six months, our delivery area has extended by over 25%. Some of our most appreciative customers live in locations that are just off the beaten track - and we love bringing them furniture they find difficult to get delivered from our rivals. However, for the time being, we still can’t find a way to deliver to the Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands or Northern Ireland. But we’re working on it.

Will I need a screwdriver and a degree in manufacturing?

Most of our furniture is delivered completely assembled, just like the photos on our website. If there is anything you need to construct or screw together yourself, this will be clear and there will be instructions. But there won't be much to do.

The product I like is out of stock - can you let me know when it is back in?

Of course. Isn’t that frustrating?  On the product page click on the ‘notify me when available’  button and give us your email address. When it comes back in you'll automatically be notified - at the front of the queue.

Are you able to deliver my furniture to my library in the East Wing?

We will always deliver your furniture into any ground floor room of your choice. All part of the service. If you would like it delivered to another floor, please message us, so we can get the right equipment and muscles ready. 

My item delivered was damaged - what do I do?

This is highly unlikely because our delivery driver checks everything before loading onto the van. But if you open the packaging and find your item is damaged in any way please email us at hello@elderflowerlane.co.uk. We will contact you and make arrangements for a replacement to be sent and for collection of the damaged item. We will also say we're sorry, not least because we don't want bad reviews. All items must be returned in the original packaging.

Bet you've got a weasely returns policy.

Actually, no. If you would like to return your order, please notify us within 7 days of the delivery date. It must be returned in the original condition and packaging. We can arrange for our delivery team to collect the item for a small fee.
